Qualifications

  • Intercollegiate Exit Examination at time of *commencing in post
 

Eligibility

  • Pre certification at the start of the fellowship*
  • Pre certification (or equivalent) for the whole of the Fellowship or permission from Training Programme Director to extend training to complete the fellowship
  • RITA C / ARCP Outcome 1 awarded at most recent annual assessment

 

Clinical Experience

  • At time of *commencing in post an applicant must have a minimum of four years training in Plastic Surgery or Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery in a Specialist Registrar/Specialty Registrar placement (NTN holder or equivalent)
  • Demonstrable Log Book data to confirm Surgical Experience
  • Previous experience in hand surgery
  • To have had exposure to reconstructive hand surgery and an understanding of the fundamental principles of the management of patients with hand problems
