SPR-Calman Trainee Information

The JCST aims to complete all applications for recognition of training as detailed below within two months. This includes processing and forwarding completed applications and paperwork to the SAC Members, the SAC Members returning their decisions about the application and the JCST responding to the trainee.

Important information about the training fee - the training fee has currently been suspended. Those who have paid the fee by credit card should have had the appropriate sum re-credited to their card account. Those that have changed their account since they have paid the fee should contact the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh to arrange for re-payment.

Please note that the below only applies to Type 1 and Type 2 trainees under the UK Calman system. Run-through MMC surgical trainees will follow alternative regulations, yet to be published.
